The Russian manufacturer of photopolymer 3D printing consumables HARZ Labs was granted a patent for “UV-curing dental material based on polymers".
According to the company, HARZ Labs became the first Russian manufacturer to receive a patent for UV-curable resins for dental 3D printing, whose effectiveness has been proven by numerous tests. Patent number 2744746 was registered in the database of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property on March 15, 2021, and came into effect on the date of filing the application on July 22 last year.
HARZ Labs produces a wide line of photosensitive resins called Dental, including options for modeling, making surgical and CT templates, gingival masks, temporary crowns and bridges, as well as burned-out resin for 3D printing of casting master models.
Master models are first produced using dental 3D scanners such as the Autoscan DS EX Pro, then printed with the HARZ Labs resin and vacuum formed.
