Dassault Systèmes has unveiled SolidWorks 2022, the latest version of its 3D design and engineering suite used by millions of inventors around the world. SolidWorks 2022 offers hundreds of enhancements based on users’ feedback, considerably simplifying and speeding up the product development process — from creating a concept to the actual production.
With an array of customizable and flexible solutions, SolidWorks 2022 enhances design, documentation, data management and validation workflows. When developing new features and improving performance, the company relied on feedback from the SolidWorks user community. The novelties will allow designers to optimize and accelerate their work, thus creating better products in a shorter time. SolidWorks 2022 opens up collaboration feasibility for Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The SolidWorks 2022 package includes:

Another great addition for SolidWorks is the Mesh2Surface plugin from Quicksurface, enabling one to convert 3D scan data into professional CAD models in simple steps.
