Introduction & Recap

In the previous blog post, we have created a new SAPUI5 application on our SAP SCP WebIDE Full stack and we have configured it to use the destination to the SAP Netweaver Gateway Demo ES5.

Have you ever wondered how to track when elements with positions: sticky become fixed? Eric Bidelman has an amazing post on this topic, go and read it now.

I've found some difficulties while using it in my project. Here they are:

1. It breaks encapsulation. sticky-change event relates to header element, but you have to insert sentinels to header's parent (and make it position: relative).
2. It involves lots of factors that should be consistent and their connection is not always obvious. For example you can't set --default-padding greater than 40px, which is top-sentinel's height.
3. You can't track block in the middle of an article.

The industry has relied on rules-based systems to detect fraud for decades. They remain a vital tool in scenarios where continuous collecting of a training sample is challenging, as retraining methods and metrics can be difficult. However, machine learning outperforms rules-based systems in detecting and identifying attacks when an ongoing training sample is available.

With advancements in machine learning, fraud detection systems have become more efficient, accurate, and adaptable. In this article, I will review several ML methods for preventing fraudulent activities and discuss their weaknesses and advantages.

In my previous article I described how to achieve the "Maybe" monad behavior using async/await operators. This time I am going to show how to implement another popular design pattern "Reader Monad" using the same techniques.

That pattern allows implicit passing some context into some function without using function parameters or shared global objects and it can be considered as yet another way to implement dependency injection. For example:

Preface

• You had to say struct all the time.
• If the type didn’t exist, the act of naming it caused the type to be injected into the current namespace, not the namespace you expected the type to be in.
• You must use the struct technique with an unqualified name. You can’t use it to probe a type that you didn’t import into the current namespace.
