Наши разработчики не спят и снова повысили производительность. Вы заметите это в процессе работы с JavaScript, DOM и CSS.
Усовершенствование UI
В дополнение к визуальным настройкам, вы уже видели улучшение Speed-dial, но мы также работаем и над интерфейсом. Обратите внимание на текст «Меню» на кнопке O для вашего удобства. Также для эскизов всех внутренних вкладок добавлены свои иконки.
В Windows 7 теперь по умолчанию отключен просмотр эскизов на панели задач, это было сделано из-за неудобства навигации при большом количестве открытых вкладок. Но вы можете включить это в настройках(opera:config#UserPrefs|UseWindows7TaskbarThumbnails).
Carbon-neutral?
После основных работ над фреймворком Opera 10.50 и заменой Carbon'а на Cocoa, мы стараемся избавиться от кода Carbon'а настолько насколько это возможно. Некоторые вещи теперь загружаются динамически для улучшения производительности.
Также для пользователей Mac, помните что Java будет работать только если установлены последние обновления для Mac OS 10.5 и 10.6. Java для Mac OS 10.4 не поддерживается.
Unix
Для пользователей Unix, это очевидно означает, что не будет версии 10.5x. Тем не менее, мы стремимся к синхронизации и релиз 10.60 на всех платформах и Unix в том числе будет одновременнен(середина июня).
