UNIZ Announces the SLASH 2 PLUS 3D printer
UNIZ is a Chinese 3D printer manufacturer, headquartered in San Diego, known for resin 3D printers. It announced its new device, the SLASH 2 PLUS. It’s a larger version of the UNIZ SLASH 2, a very successful device.
The new machine mainly targets dental applications, although it’s not limited to it. Larger build volume, impressive speed (up to 250 mm per hours, which is quite fast for resin 3D printers) and an 8.9-inch 4K LCD with a proprietary light engine are the most important specs of the device.
Dental applications
Despite its overall flexibility and versatility, the SLASH 2 PLUS was designed with dental use in mind. It’s compatible with the most common dental resins and features a sophisticated cooling system that warrants consistent results and ensures durability of the machine.
The build volume is decently sized: 192 x 120 x 200 mm. This is enough to produce nearly 30 dental aligner models in less than an hour. The “smart” features include WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, as well as a 4.3-inch touchscreen as controls.
Professional resin-based 3D printing
Being experienced in high-speed resin 3D printing, UNIZ continues to launch new products. Apart from the IBEE device, as well as the SLASH 2 and SLASH 2 PLUS 3D printers, the brand is working on another system.
