Сегодня, пытаясь найти информацию по адаптеру для PostgreSQL (psycopg), случайно наткнулась на следующую запись на сайте www.initd.org:
«This is a rant

...but I'll keep it short. part of my work is being a sysadmin. In the past 10 years I setup any kind of service. Name it. We did it. Never, ever, I found something so fucked up like trac. It worked like a charm for about 1 year and after a simple upgrade it started eating memory like a hungry hog. (And no, I don't think an Ubuntu release will ever be named „hungry hog“ so we should be pretty safe on the TM side here.) We tried everything, mod_python, fcgi, restarting apache every few hours. We got tons of suggestions and we tried them all. No way. Now, bugs are ok. I fixed bugs in my code almost all days in the last 10 years. But this is too much. I just stripped trac out of this machine configuration and tah-dah! everything works again. Yes, I know trac just works out there. But it didn't worked here. Zap!

And yes, I am doing quite some work on this machine and we'll have everything back (including a bugtracker) pretty soon now.»
Не удержалась и решила поделиться этим криком души. Иногда действительно все так достает :)
