разрешение больше 1024*768 на eeePC в Ubuntu

Долгое время искал я ответ на вопрос как же таки сделать разрешение для 17" моника в моем eeepc 1000. Ответ оказался предельно прост — поправить xorg.conf:)

А именно…

поменять
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
SubSection "Display"
Virtual 2048 768

на

В итоге полностью мой xorg.conf выглядит так:

PS. Сейчас у меня включен только внешний монитор.
