Now that Forbes Education is dispelling our fears that artificial intelligence will replace artists, and Gizmodo is exposing AI modelsfor simply copying training illustrations, we can relax and continue drawing cats riding dinosaurs. Which is what I'm going to do today!

I tested dozens of Telegram bots and chose the five best services for generating AI images. This will be useful for those who spend a lot of time in the messenger and want to create unique visual content right there.

1st place. MazAi

I'll start with a Telegram bot based on the Dall-E 3 neural network, which is amazing for its 'attention to detail,' which is why it earned first place in the ranking. It's impossible to confuse it with a detailed prompt—I tried! At one point, I started demanding that the light fall at a certain angle, and the result exceeded all expectations 🤯

Here's an example of an image generated by the MazAi bot from this prompt:

'Draw a smiling programmer dinosaur sitting in a leather chair at a desk, typing on a keyboard and looking at a computer monitor that shows mountains and a forest. On the left are 2 brown coffee mugs of different sizes. On the right is a glass with pencils. Above the dinosaur's head is a glowing lamp. In the background is a bookshelf and a window with palm trees visible outside.'

The bot is conditionally free—as a new user, I received a welcome bonus of 10,000 tokens. When they ran out, I read the service's terms of use:

  • when you have less than 500 tokens left, another 1000 are added to your balance after 24 hours;

  • there is a referral program—for each friend you refer, you get 5000 tokens + another 10% in tokens for each of their purchases.

In addition to working with images, the bot generates text using ChatGPT (4 Omni MINI is set by default, but you can switch to another version) and converts it to voice (and vice versa).

2nd place. Stable Diffusion Bot

A free Telegram bot whose only drawback is having to wait in a queue. It understands prompts in Russian and English quite well and doesn't force you to subscribe—you just need to accept the user agreement.

Example of a generated image from this prompt:

'A giant cyberpunk-style cat sits on the roof of a skyscraper surrounded by neon signs. In the background is a futuristic city bathed in bright lights. The cat, dressed in a high-tech suit, has its paws on a large backlit keyboard.'

Before you start, the bot offers to show you example illustrations and provides a tutorial on how to write prompts.

3rd place. Stable Waifu

A conditionally free bot based on Stable Diffusion that anime lovers will enjoy. You write a prompt, and the neural network generates an image in the style of Japanese cartoons.

Example of a generated image from this prompt:

'A cute girl with tired eyes is sitting at a computer. Behind her is a huge T-rex dinosaur. A bright room.'

Isn't it cute? You can describe yourself and see your doppelgänger in the anime world. Or get inspired by the neural network's ideas and draw comics!

What the bot developers offer:

  • generate 3 free illustrations per day;

  • write a story for the created picture;

  • edit or complete the resulting image;

  • participate in the referral program (20 tokens for a referred friend + 20% in tokens from each of their purchases).

4th place. Meming bot

A free Telegram bot for creating memes. Don't rush to enter a prompt; I recommend watching the video tutorial first. The request must look exactly like this: '@memingbot top_text. bottom_text'.

For example, when I entered: '@memingbot How does a programmer laugh?. exe exe exe exe exe', the bot offered me the following options for the meme's design:

The finished meme 😁

5. MJ-helper

A bot with Midjourney (paid) and Kandinsky (free). It only understands prompts in Latin script and offers four style options for the picture.

Example of a generated image from this prompt:

'Dinosaurs with open mouths are in an office near a table with laptops and a keyboard on it.'

I would call this picture: 'COBOL Courses' 😬

By the way, I got into prompts for artist neural networks as soon as they appeared. And I remember that before, when asked to draw a cat, AI could produce a surreal masterpiece where the mustachioed one is simultaneously programming, time-traveling, and running a startup. With six fingers, of course, as is classic for the genre 😁 And now AI creates decent visual content and serves as a source of inspiration for designers.

A good bot is like a good script—you want to share it! Write in the comments which Telegram bots you use.
