Wow, this game looks really bad. Not just as a Fallout game, either. But as a game period. I'm stunned, really. I had such low expectations and yet this is somehow worse than I'd ever imagined.
And to think that's not nearly the dumbest thing I've seen in this game yet, from the way PC kind of floats over the ground in a stupid fashion in third-person, to the voice-acting work of Harkness and Moira (the ghoul chick in post-Megaton: her voice acting is a fucking insult), to the hilarity of watching the PC getting beat up at his own birthday party without anyone, including the present adults, even reacting.
Horribly bland. Dialuge lines are also horribly bland. Faces are straight from Oblivion (bland, yet strange). I've been watching this for 30 minutes, I think. NOTHING interesting happened. A 5 minute radio loop seems to be playing in the background. All quests alluded to reek of unoriginality.
You start shooting people but can engage with them in conversation mid-battle. «hello there friend etc.»
Unkillable quest NPCs confirmed. Love the immersive experience the game provides.
Honestly, I was less unimpressed by oblivian gameplay vids than with this driver. What the hell is going on?
