Tumaker offers the Pro Dual line of FDM 3D printers with IDEX kinematics. The systems are offered in different sizes, being equipped with a wide choice of extruder combinations — direct and Bowden for 3D printing filaments and a pellet option for working with granular polymers.
The main feature of these systems is that they allow combining different extruders. The Tumaker Pro Dual lineup is equipped with two print heads that allow you to install a Bowden or direct filament feed system for each extruder, or opt for screw ones for working with granular materials. Thus, there are six possible extruder combinations, which are also equipped with filament runout sensors.
This approach enables you to use the most efficient extruders when working with different materials. If it is rigid filaments, a Bowden extruder with a light head will be a great option; to work with elastic polymers, you can switch to a direct extruder; and if you want to save on material costs by using granular polymers, there are special pellet extruders for this. The nozzles are available in diameters from 0.2 to 1.2 mm.
At the same time, the company offers a wide range of build volumes. The smallest one is in the NX Pro Dual printer — 295 x 220 x 200 mm, the Bigfoot 200 Pro Dual version allows you to print parts of up to 500 x 500 x 200 mm, the Bigfoot 350 Pro Dual has a build volume of 500 x 500 x 350 mm, and the Bigfoot 500 Pro Dual offers a 500 x 500 x 500 mm print area.
All of these options use an IDEX kinematic scheme with independent positioning of the heads along the Z axis, allowing you to print two identical or mirrored products at the same time. (The same gantry system is used in the Raise3D E2 CF 3D printer.) The devices are controlled by 32-bit boards with quiet TMC2660 drivers. The interface includes a 5-inch color touchscreen, Wi-Fi module, SD card reader, and Ethernet connectivity. The standard software is the Simplify3D slicer.
