JSC Science and Innovations (a scientific division of the Rosatom state corporation) presented a stand-model of a 3D printer that demonstrates the capabilities of a software and hardware platform for managing and controlling additive processes.

A key feature of the development is the ability to control technological parameters that determine the quality of synthesized products and to provide "smart" feedback, according to the press service of JSC Science and Innovations. The platform performs a real-time analysis of the deviations of actual parameters in the technological process from the initially set ones and, if necessary, provides correction. The hardware and software platform is built on domestic microprocessors and supports all additive manufacturing technologies, including those based on laser (SLM, DMD) or electron-beam melting (EBM) and others.

“The hardware and software platform, on the basis of which the 3D printer operates, represents a significant step forward in the real control of additive manufacturing processes. The entire system is integrated (it controls all elements of a 3D printer), and all key elements are made primarily of domestic units and components," commented the First Deputy General Director of JSC Science and Innovations Alexey Dub.

And this is another outstanding Russian development — the Anisoprint Composer A4, a 3D printer that deploys CCF technology, capable of producing parts 2 times lighter and stronger than aluminum.
