The research-and-development center of JSC KAMAZ (‘Kama Automobile Plant’) engaged in the creation of advanced vehicle models and improvement of the operational properties of manufactured equipment has recently acquired a CT Mini M vacuum forming machine for their pilot production.
Plastic and silicone parts manufactured using the CT Mini M are used for assembling prototypes of new automotive equipment and its small-scale production. The CT Mini M is a vacuum forming machine for silicone tooling. The dimensions of the inner space for silicone molds are 460 x 460 x 390 mm, with a maximum casting volume of 1,000 ml.
The device can be upgraded with some additional options:
elevator to position forms;
wax module;
differential pressure function for high viscosity materials;
a system of centralized air exhaust from the working chamber for polymers requiring forced ventilation during processing.
Master-models are often made by means of resin 3D printers. High-quality equipment such as the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K make for the smooth surface of original prototypes.
