The Polish company Sinterit, a manufacturer of priced-to-please 3D printers using selective laser powder sintering (SLS) technology offers the Lisa 2 3D printer with an increased build area and an expanded range of supported materials.

Sinterit was founded in 2014 by three Google employees with the sole purpose of making polymer powder 3D laser printing technology accessible even to small businesses and additive technology enthusiasts. The company's first product was the Lisa 3D printer, a compact and relatively inexpensive device that can print high-quality models from polyamide-12 and Flexa Black elastomer based on thermoplastic polyurethane. While industrial SLS 3D printers typically cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, the Lisa is sold for $13,000.

The upgraded version is primarily distinguished by an enlarged build chamber — 150 x 200 x 260 mm versus 150 x 200 x 150 mm in the original Lisa. Sintering is carried out by a 5-watt infrared semiconductor laser in a protective nitrogen environment, so that users can experiment with different materials. The Lisa 2 comes with the aforementioned polyamide-12 and Flexa Black, as well as the even more flexible Flexa Gray and polyamide-11, which is highly resistant to chemicals and temperatures. The Sinterit Studio is used as standard software.
