Не так давно Cisco обновили трек CCNA, CCIE R&S, а также CCNP Security. Поэтому можно было ожидать, что вскоре изменят и CCNP R&S.
И вот, 28 июля переработали экзамены для этой сертификации.
Теперь необходимыми экзаменами для получения статуса CCNP R&S являются:
Данные экзамены можно сдать, начиная с 29.07.2014, а последний день сдачи старых экзаменов — 29.01.2015.
Так что всем, кто сейчас на пути к CCNP, стоит поспешить!

Изменений не так уж и много. Как по мне, то очень жаль, что не избавились от Frame Relay.
Всё же лично я планирую поспешить и сдать старые SWITCH и TSHOOT.

P.S. Недавно вышла версия GNS3 1.0 beta с поддержкой свитчинга в IOU, так что теперь к этим экзаменам готовиться гораздо проще, если нет лабы с реальным оборудованием. Если есть такая необходимость, то могу написать пост, как прикрутить IOU к новому GNS3.

- Так и не убрали Frame Relay, который пропал в CCNA и CCIE
- Перенесли часть тем из TSHOOT в ROUTE (SNMP, NetFlow, NTP и др.)

- Ещё больше ipv6, в том числе BGP ipv6 address-family и NAT64
- Добавили VRF lite
- Добавили DMVPN, EVN
- Добавили EIGRP named configuration
