while ASP.Net is a paid Microsoft platform
— Microsoft owns it.

Why so? To be objective, look at ASP.NET Core, it's open-source and free too.

ASP.NET doesn’t allow for as many irregularities in its code

ASP.NET platform, .NET runtime or C#-compiler?

— It [ASP.NET] operates only on a Microsoft server

It's a lie (Mono and ASP.NET Core).

— [ASP.NET] Not as good as PHP for website development

It's not an objective point of view. Given motivation is poor.

— Based on closed source technology.

It's a lie, as I pointed before.
First of all, thank you for the article.
