Комментарии для IE 6 больше не работают?

В последнее время не могу подключить комментарии для IE 6 в html-коде. Кажется, что-то произошло.

Раньше уверенно пользовался конструкциями типа:

Однако с каких-то пор IE 6 перестал реагировать на комментарии, относящиеся к нему. Я решил сначала, что неправильно вставил комментарии, однако сегодня заметил, что на работающем ранее проекте тоже теперь такие комментарии перестали работать.
Кто-нибудь знает, что случилось?
Кстати, верстаю я в XHTML 1.0 Strict
UPD. Зря я развел панику кажется. Что-то случилось именно с моим браузером кажется, тк на остальных машинах все работает:(
