Abby Tyo, Dec 23 09:10 PM:
We are disappointed to notify you that due to a United States Executive Order, issued December 19th, we are required to close the account of your oDesk freelancers who work in Crimea, along with the accounts of all clients and freelancers in Crimea.
It is greatly unfortunate that American companies and individuals are now prohibited from operating with Crimean based parties, but we regretfully must comply with this new law and have temporarily closed their oDesk account. We are in the process of applying for a special license to operate in Crimea, in the hopes of reinstating their account, but these are rarely granted and may take several months to obtain.
We regret the disruption to your job and would like to help you find a freelancer to complete your project. If this would be of help to you, please visit our recruiting team site, www.odesk.com/recruiting, and we will be happy to assist you.
