This is a page like habr.com/users/username, which can contain:
User's avatar, nickname and (if specified) real name.
The values of karma and rating, as well as the current position in the rating.
Badges the user earned during the activity on Habr.
Links to social accounts, messengers, personal websites.
Dates of registration on the resource, receiving an invitation and last visit to the website.
The list of hubs, to which the user has subscribed.
Other information «About myself», which he wished to indicate.
A number of information from the profile is displayed on a specially created author info plate, which is displayed under each publication of the user. To choose what exactly to display in your info plate, you should mark the corresponding contacts with the checkbox on the profile settings page.
How to change info about myself?
Very simple. Sign in using link to the settings page will be visible in the drop-down by clicking on the user icon in the site header.
What is badges?
During their stay, users earn various badges, which are then displayed in the habracenter. The badges depend on user's behavior, activity on the website, and the the community attitude.
Some of the icons are artifacts and give their owners additional options:
Habred | User with positive karma (more than 0). Depending on karma, can post publications to various hubs, write comments and vote. Can use HTML-tags in comments and disable ads in the settings. |
Unhabred | User with a negative karma (less than 0). Depending on karma, user begins to experience difficulties with commenting. More than that, user can't post publications, vote for publications, and use HTML-tags in comments. |
Commentator | User, who has 5 and more useful or successful comments, with +50 rating each. |
Interpreter | User, who has 5 and more translations with +50 rating each. Can rightfully be proud of his badge. |
Old timer | User, who has registered over 3 years ago and who has karma over +50. Can participate in ASP. Upvote of such a user equals 2 upvotes of a regular user. |
Author | User, who has at least 10 publications with +50 rating each, has karma +50 and over, can participate in ASP. Upvote of such a user equals 2 upvotes of a regular user. |
Star | This badge is given to user, who has karma +50 and over, and at least 20 publications with +50 rating each. Can do the same as «Author». Upvote of such a user equals 2 upvotes of a regular user. |
Legend | Upgraded version of a «Star». Badge is given to user, who has karma +50 and over, and at least 30 publications with +50 rating each. Can do the same as «Author». Upvote of such a user equals 3 upvotes of a regular user. |
Badges «Author», «Star» and «Legend» absorb each other in the process of self-improvement of the Author.
